Who are we ?
The Biowrap company was created in December 2016 following the emergence of the green energy transition law published in August 2015 to provide a response to a greener economy that respects the environment.
Concerned about contributing to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, Biowrap first focused on the design and manufacture of a film partially derived from renewable resources and 100% biocompostable intended for the graphic arts industries (Printer, router, publishers and principals, etc.).
After the success of its BHC products recognized by all players in this business branch, several variations have emerged, opaque BHC film, retractable BHC film, etc.
For 4 years, we have not stopped improving and developing the composition of our films. We always use plant materials , real alternatives to the use of petroleum plastics
Today, in order to meet the growing demand from manufacturers and consumers, we design biodegradable and compostable films, better for the environment, capable of satisfying a large number of sectors of activity.
In order to contribute to the reduction of the carbon footprint of our customers in their respective activities, we are constantly managing development projects. Over the past 3 years, we have developed, among other things:
- protective covers for furniture for the GL EVENT group,
- a range of pallet covers for logisticians and manufacturers,
- a shrinkable and compostable BHC film with a more transparent grade for packaging manufacturers,
- BIOSOIL-certified canine waste bags for a big name in sales to local authorities.
Biowrap is resolutely anchored in a principle of circular economy , we rely on a strong network of industrial partners for the manufacture of our products up to the recycling of our biosourced waste.
